Refund & Cancellation Policy

The Birdie Project Golf Academy – Buffalo Grove, IL

1. General Principles

We strive to provide excellent instruction while keeping policies fair and consistent. Refunds, credits, and rescheduling are subject to the guidelines below.

2. Cancellations & Refund Eligibility

Program TypeCancellation Policy

Private Lessons- Cancel ≥ 12 hours before: refundable or transferable
- Cancel < 12 hours: no refund or credit
- No-show: no refund or credit.

Lesson Packages- Non-refundable once purchased.
- Exceptions only in the case of documented medical issues, where prorated credits may be issued.

Group Clinics / Camps / Programs- Cancel ≥ 48 hours before start: full refund minus $25 admin fee
- Cancel < 48 hours: no refund (credits may be considered for medical emergencies with documentation).

3. Academy-Initiated Changes

If The Birdie Project cancels or reschedules a lesson, clinic, or program due to instructor illness, facility issues, or weather, participants will be offered a full refund or rescheduling at no extra cost.

4. Weather & Extraordinary Circumstances

For weather or other unforeseen events beyond your control, you may select either a refund or reschedule at no cost.

5. Medical Exceptions

In cases of illness or injury, with valid medical documentation, prorated credits may be granted. These will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.

6. Credits & Expiry

  • Credits issued instead of refunds are valid for 6 months from the date of issue.

  • After expiration, unused credits will not be honored.

7. Administrative & Processing Fees

  • A $25 administrative fee applies to all clinic, camp, or program cancellations that qualify for a refund.

  • Some longer-term programs may be subject to a 10% processing fee on refunds.

8. Refund Request Procedure

All refund or cancellation requests must be submitted in writing via email or our registration platform and must include the participant’s name, program details, and reason for cancellation.

9. Acknowledgement of Policy

By registering with The Birdie Project Golf Academy, participants agree to the terms of this Refund & Cancellation Policy.
